Historic Village

The Historic Village located at the Lake County fairgrounds is a permanent display of vintage farm machinery, mostly horse-drawn, including a fully operational hay derrick (pictured above), logging and mining equipment. buildings including Joe's Cabin from the MC Ranch, a blacksmith shop, outhouse, barn (pictured below) and log cabin. they are outfitted as closely as possible to the appropriate time period.

Some items of interest are a water fountain from the old Lake County Courthouse, and bell from the Lone Pine School.
The village is open during the Lake County Round-Up Labor Day weekend and by appointment.
