Court House

In 1908 this towering red brick courthouse was built in Lakeview, using plans from which a Nebraska courthouse has been built in 1886. The three story building (the third story was to have been a county hospital but was never used) cost $45,000 and was topped by a 4-faced clock with huge chimes. This building was torn down in 1954 when the county offices occupied the present building.
